The Ultra-Lite series of boards are the lightest we have made. Each board is made from 1.5# Eps stringerless foam and use Futures fin system set up as a twin (2) with V2F4 fins , this board uses special exotic cloth in its lamination process. This board uses our vacuum bag lamination process and Made in USA by Mark werbenec

2013 Lakewakes Timber-lite wakesurf boards will have a  wood veneer composite sandwich construction on both sides and cured under vacuum bagging methods. Two standard sizes will be offered and 3 choices of real veneer wood  at this time.  All boards made in USA by Mark Werbenec

Cody “Law” jones surfs Lakewakes Team Prolight wakesurf board.

Cody Jones will be riding a Lakewakes Team Prolight wakesurf board for the rest of the 2012 season and for the 2013 season. This board is 54 x 21 and weight naked is a Ultralight 5 pounds. Cody will represent Lakewakes wakesurf boards at the 2012 Worlds Wakesurf  Championship Event. here are some pix of Cody and his board and a video of his first practice comp run.

Lakewakes Ultralight wakesurf boards 54″ and 60″

Lakewakes wakesurf boards will claim to manufacture the lightest and strongest non -moulded production wakesurf board for retail market.

Our Ultralight 54″ and 60″ wakesurfboards , Use a 1.5# stringerless EPS foam core  that is assembled with specialty cloths and is vacuum bagged all in 1 stage ( TOP AND BOTTOM ). The Ultralight boards use more layers of cloth then any other board made with color being Ultra white and with little flex resistance as a board with carbon reinforcements or grab rails. Futures fin system set as a twin with only white fin box on these boards as cloth color covers box color. Boxes are set under the layers of cloth for the strongest bond with fin choice of V2f4 or V2-321 side fins. Board weight for the 54 x 21 x 2 is 5 pounds naked with weight limit of 200 pound rider and the 60 x 22 x 2 is under 6 pounds  naked with a weight limit of a 340 pound rider. ( NAKED= No fins or Traction ). The Ultralight boards come with Lakewakes TIKI logo top and bottom as standard finish with optional traditional surf board rail and/or bottom  spray .

Build times are 2 weeks minimum

54 or 60 board with V2F4 fins   700.00 each

54 or 60 board with V2-321 fins  710.00 each

ADD 50.00 FOR TRADITIONAL RAIL OR BOTTOM SPRAY COLOR.

NO TRACTION IS SUPPLIED with any Lakewakes boards.

Mark Roche hanging on the Lakewakes Noserider wakesurf board

So I met up with new FB friend Mark Roche last friday to test some boards out since he rides GOOFY like me and I would be able to get in with the fun as well. One of the test boards was this 5.11 x 22 x 2 Lakewakes noserider wakesurf board. This board has a Eps foam core with bottom fabric inlay and full cork deck traction. Fin system is from Futures and includes their Strong Box and 10.25 noserider fin. Neither of us have rode a long style board like this behind a boat. Here are some pix of Mark Roche getting 5 off the front and some of the board. This was the last board of the day to try so we were trying to beat the rain and a timeline we had to meet. I will have more pix and a video soon.

Wolfe Sisters WIN at 10K Lakes Open on Lakewakes wakesurf boards

Jordan and Taylor Wolfe, WIN at the 10K Lakes Open on their Lakewakes wakesurf boards.  Jordan won 1st place and Taylor won  3rd place in the Junior division. Lakewakes Grom wakesurf boards are light , strong and work very well and will always be MADE IN USA.  See both Wolfe sisters at the Worlds wakesurf event next month. Good luck to them both.
